Yahoo, I’m going to get some today!
Were those the only 2 Pillsbury products with this special sale? I’m needing some pie crusts to make chicken pot pie =).
If you buy 8 at one time will they take the $4 off twice? Or do I need to do them seperately?
Is the $4 off only for the refrigerated products or frozen too?
the DVC plaza Safeway does NOT have these for 19 cents…
Did I miss them somehow?
I have a $.30/2 e coupon too!!! That would be $.14 overage!!
I went and mine didn’t have it in the system for some reason, even though the sign in front was the same as the one you posted. The checker had to manually take off the $4. I forgot to get milk so I went back in and decided to get 4 more. This checker said she had to go check and make sure it was indeed $4 off. She came back and said something about the numbers not matching on the sign but that she’d give me the $4. Weird, but oh well! I got 8!
I live in So Cal and these ones are priced at 1.29 ea or .29 ea wyb 4. I had (2) .30 e-coupons come off and used a .30/2 that doubled, so I ended up with .04 overage. The $4 “instant” discount did not come off automatically though…I knew my total was off at the end, so I mentioned it and he looked and then took the $4 off. Not sure why it didn’t come off right away though…so if you are doing a big shopping trip, watch your total, and make sure yout $4 comes off.
Rats, this didn’t work in Portland, OR. The sale price is $.99 instead of $.19. Still an ok deal though after the coupons.
I went to the Port Chicago Safeway, and although the sign says .19, they charged me $1.19. And the printer didn’t work for me to get my P&G catalina. What a sad trip…
The .19 each price is the result of a mis-print on the sign. It should be 1.19 each, which is what they scan. All Safeway stores probably received the incorrect sign, but many of them probably caught the error as they put it on the shelf.
So, I went to Safeway tonight for the bisquits, freezer food deal and for the $25 in P&G products get $10 Catalina. Had them ring up my P&G products first (2 Charmin big packs and 1 febreeze). Total was $17.34. The machine did not generate a Catalina
So the manager returned my items at full price, rung up the new ones and manually applied a $10 manufacturer coupon. So I received $10 + difference between club card savings and reg. price = $19.57 cash back. I told her that didn’t sound right…
Then I purchased my other items seperately….which included 4 of the bisquits…which now I see rung up for 1.19 each and 1 ecoupon taken off for .30. So I paid $4.76 minus the 2 printable coupons .30/2
Kinda bummed about that but hey….guess it makes up for the free Charmin and I got a $10 off Catalina for frozen food!!
Be sure to check your receipt before you leave the store…sounds like this is happening with everybody!
I did this today in Portland, OR and it worked beautifully! Bought 2 small crescent rolls that were $.69 after promo and 2 small packs of the cinnamon rolls that were $.89 after promo. After MC and e-coupons, I had a lot of overage! Used the $.95 off of any Pillsbury sweet rolls coupons without any beeping too!
I’m in Nor California and our Safeway’s have them price at $1.39, or 39 cent after the instant $4 saving. It’s still an okay deal.
Remember that these are the Jr. size=5 biscuits. They weren’t in my Safeway’s computer either, and they had to manually make an adjustment, however, 8 cans using two coupons and two e coupons came out to .04 cents a can. My kids love these biscuits, they roast them over the fire and then spray with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar..
Just a heads up to everyone, this tag was a mistake and I guarantee Safeway has already changed this.
Yep – changed, grr.
