We get asked to review products on a regular basis, most of them we turn down because it isn’t something that our family would use or fits well within our lifestyle.  However recently we were offered the opportunity to have our kids review something – a toy, but not just any toy this one is part dinosaur and part car it’s the new Switch & Go Dinos.  We have 3 boys and we knew this would be a hit and an opportunity to “work with mommy and daddy.”    If you have children, I’m sure you’ve learned the art of “don’t tell the kids about anything super fun until just before it’s going to happen” otherwise you’ll be asked a barage of questions until the day you die.  So it came as a very welcome suprise for them on Father’s Day.  When we opened the box, my youngest asked “whose birthday are we going to?” Yep, that’s because we very rarely buy new-in-package toys unless we’re going to a birthday party, it’s Christmas, or it’s their birthday.  So they were elated to know it was just for them!  I tried to get a few good pictures of them playing with them but they just wouldn’t sit still long enough to get anything more than a blur!

Usually we have to explain to the kids what the toy does, how it functions, which buttons do what but that wasn’t the case with these Dinos.  Straight out of the box they were ready to go!  Funny enough the kids didn’t even realize that the Dinos talked, they have over 30 phrases that mention interesting facts about dinosaurs.  Our boy’s were too busy grunting and growling and crashing them together to notice that at first. Then an hour or so later when they were a bit calmer I found them laying on the floor really inspecting their new toys.

When we dished out these new toys, we only had our 4 and 6 year old boys at home.  They were smitten with their new toy and as soon as big brother came home they practically pounced him to show him their new toy.  He thought it was pretty cool, but more in a pat on the back you’re much younger than me kind of way.  I’d say these fit the 4-6 year old age range best.  So if you’re headed to a birthday party or have one coming up in your own family you’ll be happy to know these are an affordable 2in1 toy priced at just $14.99.

My twin boys love anything that makes noise. They’re favorite toys are almost all cars or dinosaurs, so having both of those in one seems like it would be the perfect toy!

My son is a curious one and I think he will love figuring out how to transform each of the toys. He also loves dinosaurs

My grandson would love the Dino toys as he is into the transformers that turn into vehicles. He just doesn’t like the scary ones(he tells me). He is a good little boy and I think he deserves a new toy for doing so good in Pre-School this year! He is 4. Thank you for the opportunity and good luck to all!
