We have a couple of train lovers in our family and it’s always a treat when we take the kids for a getaway on the train. With lots of great destinations like Paramount’s Great America, Six Flags Marine World, the Oakland Coliseum, and Pier 39 just steps from Capitol Corridor stations, taking the train couldn’t be easier! - Tickets may be purchased online, at a staffed station, at a Quik-Trak machine, or onboard, if boarding from an unstaffed station.
- Children aged 2-15 ride for free with the purchase of a standard adult full fare, and when a companied by an adult.
- The discount for children is available at the rate of two free children for each adult fare purchased.
- Children traveling alone are not entitled to a children’s discount.
- One child under the age of two (that is, an “infant”) may ride free with each adult ticket purchased. Infants are not entitled to a seat.
- This offer cannot becombined with any other discount offer. This offer is subject to any restrictions, blackouts, and refund rules that apply to the type of fare purchased and upon which the discount is based. Central and East County
Encourage your student(s) to take the bus to school to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution. Eligible 1st – 12th grade riders can receive a County Connection or Tri Delta Transit punch pass to cut costs. Communities served include Walnut Creek, Concord, Martinez, Clayton, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley and Brentwood.
