Every once in a while I venture into Food Maxx, it seems there are often great deals to be found and often great coupon match-ups. Unfortunately though since they don’t put out an ad we can’t plan ahead and so I end up shopping by the seat of my pants. Well, that doesn’t go so well with a budget. However I find that they often have great coupons throughout the store, tearpads, blinkies, and coupon booklets. So sometimes I just go for a quick stroll to see what I can find.
Last week I found this coupon booklet called “Comida y Familia”, these are manufacturer’s coupons that can be used at any store. Here are the coupons you’ll find inside:
- 55$ off Nabisco Cookies
- 55¢ off Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs
- 55¢ off Nabisco Crackers
- 55¢ off Kool Aid canister
- $1/1 off Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 55¢ off Kraft Real Mayo
- 55¢/2 packages Jello gelatin or pudding
- 75¢/1 Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Kraft Singles, or Kraft Shredded Cheese
If you have a Food Maxx near you, I’d pop in to grab this booklet.

I don’t normally shop FoodMaxx for my produce, in the past the quality hasn’t been all that great. However yesterday I ran in because it’s the closest full size grocery store to us now. I was surprised to find a few really great prices (even cheaper than the 99 Cents Only Store, and the quality of the items I bought was excellent.
I found Blueberries 11 oz for $0.99, Mangos 2/$0.99, Green Onions $0.32 ea bundle, Iceburg Lettuce for $0.32 ea and more. It might be worth a stop in every once in awhile.

I was just at Food Maxx last night and saw that these were only $1.28 each, now with the new $0.50/1 Lawry’s Marinade coupon you can get them for only $0.78 ea! Don’t worry even if you don’t have a Food Maxx, I’m sure we will see a good sale on these with grilling season fast approaching.
