So I almost cried yesterday, when my BRAND NEW “good morning video Gevalia Coffee pot” fell off of our rolling kitchen cart/shelf thing. We store our board games in it and my son was yanking too hard and it tipped over! Panic ensued, but thankfully he was perfectly fine. Unfortunately though my coffee pot was not.
This morning I woke up and tried to figure out how to manuever the day without my cup of joe when my dear sweet husband said he’d go to Starbucks and buy me cup. He was sweet enough to get me the BOLD coffee and brought home the details for this promotion:
For the next 8 weeks, participating Starbucks locations will be offering a new Bold Brewed coffee each week. They’ve also lowered their prices on the Tall to $1.50, but you can buy the BOLD in any size. Each week you will get a sticker to mark the coffee that you’ve purchased for the week. If you collect 8 stickers by trying all 8 flavors, you’ll be able to redeem them for a FREE pound of your choice of Starbucks Bold Coffee!

Thanks! This is so sweet – my husband is a cop on midnights so he goes at least 3-4 times a week for a tall coffee. Now we’ll get some FREE coffee for the house! Awesome!
WOOHOOOO!! I haven’t been going to Starbucks often, I miss it! This will be my incentive!

P.S. If you buy a bag of Starbucks coffee at the grocery store and bring in that bag when it’s empty to your local Starbucks, you get a free tall coffee! I wonder if you could use that towards the BOLD program?
Be sure to read the fine print. Buried deep inside the fine print is a statement that says you have to redeem by 5-31-10. Of course it doesn’t say it in BOLD letters so us old folks notice it. I was looking like a fool yesterday when I went to get my free pound of coffee and the Barista sad “Too Bad For You, you waited to late”. What a surprize that after all these weeks of keeping up with my Passport, it’s now worthless !!!!!
