Final Price = $2.00 for 8 jars of Skippy Peanut Butter or $0.25 ea

Help! I’m trying to understand this deal from Walgreens…and while i get the basic concept this line has me totally baffled! “Use (4) $1/2 Coupons from the 8/2 RP” Can you explain? I’m new to this and am trying to get some basic concepts down and your site has really helped open my eyes! Thanks for doing this.
Stephanie, this is TOTALLY understandable, once you get the hang of it, it’s really easy.
Use (4) means you’ll need 4 of the same coupons.
$1/2 is the value of the coupon, it is $1.00 off of 2 Jars
8/2 is the date the coupon came in the Sunday paper
RP – is for Red Plum, which is the name of the coupon insert in the Sunday Paper.

The deals on peanut butter right now all over the place are insane. I got some to donate at Albertsons and I might get more at Wags IF I can find enough on the shelves. They’re pretty stingy with inventory. Thanks for the deal scenario!
OK, I so don’t get this. I am looking at my Walgreen’s ad and it doesn’t say the 8 part. product for $10 RR. Are tey different by region. Anyway, what is the Walgreen’s coupon policy, it seems like they accept so many for one product?
Casey, on Page 8 of my ad it shows several products, Dove, Breyers, Lipton, Skippy, Ragu, etc and their corresponding prices. At the very top of that page in an orange box/area it says the following:
Buy 8 or more, get $10RR
Buy 6 – get $6RR
Buy 4 – get $2RR
However, I guess it could be regional if you don’t have that info in your ad..I guess I never knew Walgreens to have regional sales, it’s been uniform across the board as far I can tell. I’d love to hear if you find it in your ad or not.
Sorry, I totally had it! I guess that is what happens when your kids get a hold of the ads! Anyway, I really want to figure this deal out. I only have 2 of the $1/2 two skippys (should I start getting more Sunday newspapers?).
Getting more papers each week is totally up to you, I do…because I have found it to be well worth the investment.
However with 2 of those coupons it’s still a great deal.
Buy 8 @ $16.00
Use (2) $1.00/2 Coupons = $14.00
Get $10 in RR
Final Price = 8 Jars of Peanut Butter for $4.00 or $0.50ea!
