Sitting at Peet’s…

For my locals…

A typical Saturday morning for me includes sitting at Peet’s enjoying a pick-me-up coffee, catching up on work from the week, lesson planning, or just enjoying a break.  This morning, I’m home-brewing looking at Peet’s site (I guess I really wish I could be there today!) I stumbled upon this FREE Peet’s coffee offer and a great way to give back to your community as well.  My local Peet’s is collecting gifts and donations for the Bay Area Crisis Nursery.  We made a donation of toy’s when we visited the Clayton Toy Story Light Show, but I like that Peet’s is also matching cash donations up to $1,000 – a great way to maximize your giving.  Maybe I’ll see you at Peet’s!

Holiday Donations 2009 ~ A Community Tradition

Please join us December 17-24 in support of non-profit organizations in our local.com/munities. Each store has chosen a non-profit organization to be the recipient of its fundraising efforts and Peet’s matches up to $1,000 of the customer contributions collected in each store.

On Thursday, December 24th we will serve complimentary brewed coffee and tea all day as a way to thank you for supporting our.com/munities.

Thank you Peet’s for everything you do to support the.com/munity!
