CBS 5: TFF Talks about Extreme Couponing

Media & Press

We got a an invite yesterday back to the CBS 5 newstation for a LIVE on-air segment today.  We don’t have the air times yet, but I’ll update this post as soon as we find out. The segment will be on during the 5 o’clock news hour. We’re so honored and blessed to have these opportunities presenting themselves!

We’ll be discussing the TLC Extreme Couponing show and the fallout as a result of it.  How it’s affecting both couponers and retailers nationwide.

For those of you outside of the area, we’re going to do our best to get a recording of the segment and post it here on the blog for you to see.  If you missed our previous segments on CBS 5 or articles in the newspaper – you can find them here.

Great segment. Even if it was on CBS 5. I only pause my boycott of them to watch you!

Not a bad package, actually. TV stations always shoot way more video than they need, so don’t think you were singled out for editing. It happens to everyone.

We’ve been very blessed with news coverage lately, not complaining at all :)

Aside from the coverage and publicity for your site and everything that you do … just wanted to say, you are beautiful!!! You picked a great color/outfit. :)

Thank you for putting yourself out there for all to see and learn the truths about couponing well/right/legally.

I was kinda surprised that there was so little of you, too, but I thought it was a very good segment! And I also thought the new piggies on the screen behind you looked SO cute!

You did a great job! I just wish they could air that in my area. I am frustrated at the empty shelves around here. I went into CVS at 9:00 am last Sunday for 4 items and two of them were completely cleared out already!!! And it seems every time I hand over my coupons to the cashier, I always get the comment, “So you’re watching that show too, huh?” As if couponing didn’t exist before “the” show!

This was a topic of conversation when I woke up this morning…we sleep with the TV on to drown out the road noise.

I think Julia’s piece was great and very informative to both sides.
