Safeway: Unadvertised In-Store Deals and Price Checks

Here are a few unadvertised deals I spotted at Safeway today as well as a few price checks that weren’t included in the ad – especially on the BOGO sale items.

A few things you should know about doubles and BOGO scenarios:

1. You can only double 4 coupons per transaction up to $0.50 each
2. For my local readers you can only double in the following locations: Oregon Safeway Stores (except Milton-Freewater) and SW Washington Stores serving Clark, Wahkiakum, Cowiltz, Skamania, and Klickitat Counties.
3. Your store may or may not double printed coupons
4. Your store may or may not allow a coupon on the free item of a BOGO sale

  Just a note: I tried the Capri-Sun deal and then bought another round using the catalina on the next set. I still received the Catalina on the second set–So the catalina is rolling. So, if you have lots of kids who need lunches packed, this is a great way to stock up.

  In our Safeway the Kikkoman seasoning packets were .99 and .90 making them a $ maker. Unfortunately the price of the hot dogs were higher in our store

  One Penny still buys something at Safeway! I did this today:
  Buy (2) Popchips Katy’s Kettle Corn, 3.5oz 2 for $4
  - j4u digital $1/1
  - j4u digital BOGO which deducted $2.79
  - j4u personalized deal 10% off chips (-.20)
  Paid $0.01 for two bags!

  Without personalized deal 10% off Chips, pay $0.21 for two bags by using the BOGO & $1/1

  This is a new flavor by Katy Perry. Purple bag. No fat and all natural!

      Everyone should see the two coupons below in their Coupon Center:
      $1/1 expires 2/12 !
      and
      BOGO up to $2.79 expires 3/3
