Along with my J4U price of $1.49 (Limit 2), I also have a J4U price of $1.90 (unlimited). With the Catalina, would make each jar only $1.10… not bad!
Julia, pls stress that it is only the Naturals variety producing Catalina. Naturals only. Like the one pictured in your peanut butter price rising post.

i have the 1.49 j4u on my card but then i also added the $1 off 2 skippy peanut butter. will i be able to use both? and then get the catalina? because then it would be like getting them for $.50 eaach!

You can’t combine a J4U price with a manufacturer’s coupon. This is still a good deal at $.99 each with the catalina, just don’t plan on using a coupon too.
Amanda, you actually can combine a just 4 U price with a manufacturer’s coupon. You cannot combine a Safeway eCoupon (the ones that aren’t in the ad) with a manufacturers coupon.
Yep, did that recently with the Ragu when it was on sale and ended up getting 5 jars for $1.46 total
Sadly, when I went, they wouldn’t let me use the coupon, and the lady was really rude to me about it too. I bought 2 jars without a coupon, put the catalina towards some ice cream for the stress and decided to call it a day. I’ll go back on Monday with the printout that says I can use a coupon and try it again.
I went to safeway and bought 3 Blue Diamond Almond milk that are on sale for $2.79 and used 3 $.55 coupons from the blinking coupon machine by the milk section and got a $1.50 catalina. If you buy 2 you get a $.75 catalina or if buy 4 you get a $4.00 catalina. This catalina promotion is going till 11/6 its a good deal if you like almond milk.
Went for another run to Safeway, and this deal is now comical to me!

So several elements all working together for a perfect peanut butter storm:
1). Personalized price of $1.49 limit 2 per transaction. But I have done one transaction per day and it works. So I will go in every day.
2). Loaded coupon for $1/2 went thru.
3). Catalina $1 printed.
4). Possible 2nd Catalina prints from Blockbuster for 2 free rentals, I think it is random.

I bought this yesterday and my JFU price on Skippy was $1.39 for the 16 oz. I didn’t get the catalina but I didn’t by the naturals.
