That’s awesome! I think I will get about half that. But will probably end up paying more. Hmmm…. back to the drawing board! lol

Whitney, let me know if you need any coupons, I MAY have some, but I am running a bit low, finally. haha.
Sedonia, this was all 1 transaction. Boy am I glad I didn’t use one of my $5/$50 coupons because that would have been a bit awkward to have them owe my money. I’m sure the computer would have beeped though.

I am pretty stocked up with paper plates, candles (I have Glade products coming out my ears!), and cereal. But I DO want to grab some Natures Valley products! And thanks to your latest blog, I think I’ll have plenty of coupons to do so. Thanks!!! Oh and did you use coupons for the fish sticks?

Very awesome. I have been using coupons and buying sale items. I’ve run into 2 snags so far where items don’t ring up correctly. If I didnt catch it I would’ve overpaid. How do u keep track of this at the register?

That’s a great question. I make sure to watch as they ring up each item to make sure it scans it at the price I saw on the shelf. Then if I have a lot of coupons, I count them before I hand them over and I count along as they scan them, also trying to watch that it scans it at the right discount. It sounds a bit more complicated than it is. Another thing I do is add up my total as I am going along so I have an idea of what I should be paying at the end. If it’s much higher than I anticipated, there is probably a problem.

Have I got a deal for you. Today at Safeway I took my $1.50 coupon for the scented oil candle tin and they have a deal buy 3 or more and pay $2.49 each lid has a 1.50 coupon makes each candle $1.00 then the manufacture coupon on getting the refills free also. The refills are 2.49 but they give you the 3.99 value so they paid me a couple dollars back which I donated to finding a cure for breast cancer. Needless to say I cleaned out 3 safeway stores. Got 475.00 worth of candles FREE plus made donation to breast cancer research.(Colorado)
