Mine didn't have several RP coupons that others seemed to have. I figured it was a regional thing, but I don't have the Quaker coupons and I'm in the bay area too.

Could you tell me which paper you’re buying on Sunday? Even if the image doesn't match up - the text is what you go by. I don't have a copy in hand or I would check for you.

I didn’t use that one, I used the one from the Sunday paper the coupon says good on ANY Quaker granola bar right? Oddly enough, I just started to really cost-compare between the stores I now shop at: Safeway, TraderJoes, 99Ranch, SeafoodCity and 99cent-only... I almost didn't buy half/half at TJs thinking Safeway *must* have a better deal. To my dismay, Safeway's prices were 2X (yes, twice) TJs price on a pint of half/half (and the TJs should be "better" with no growth hormone). Whipping cream was also 2X the price. Salad greens were also 2X the price (but with a BOGO deal, it evened out). I know TJs can be more expensive on the convenience-packaged things, but I was either (1) amazed at Safeway's price increases or (2) TJs hidden low prices... and so far, I've been really impressed with the price of produce at both 99Ranch and Seafood City -- sometimes 1/2 of Safeway... I'm thinking twice before heading to Safeway again -- and then only sticking to the super-deals.

(re: deals at Safeway)… Oddly enough, I just started to really cost-compare between the stores I now shop at: Safeway, TraderJoes, 99Ranch, SeafoodCity and 99cent-only… I almost didn’t buy half/half at TJs thinking Safeway *must* have a better deal.
