Watch the video to see how much I saved!
I had a great time tonight! I took 6 local readers grocery shopping, they followed along and I was able to help them pick out the deals and show them how you can maximize your savings by planning ahead, preparing your coupons, and knowing the sales! I took a video of what I bought (I should have taken a video in store! Maybe next time!) If you’re interested in joining me on a Shop-Along, add The Frugal Find as a friend on Facebook. I make my announcements over there.
To see all the printable coupons I used, check out this week’s Safeway deals. Also, here is a link with the details of the newest Safeway coupon booklet – I LOVE THIS BOOKLET!

love the videos!! and thanks again, we had a blast!!
Love the video (: ! I’m sad though that my safeway doesn’t take IPs
I like your videos. I missed the Hersheys B3G3 deal. Thanks for the tip!
I love your videos. Safeway looks like they have great promotions/pricing. We just don’t see those kind of deals in Upstate NY and no double coupons here either
I wish we had a safeway.
You did awesome
I love your videos! So fun to watch what you bought and hear your explanations for everything. It gives me ideas for when I shop at my Randalls (Safeway). Good job!
Very fun! Great job! And I la la LOVE the videos, keep um’ coming pretty please!
I absolutely love your videos!! Thank you for the great Safeway tips too! I am making my Safeway Trip today! Hopefully it will be as great as a savings as yours was!
Thanks for the video. It give me more ideas of what to look for. How long do you think you spend prepping for a shopping trip like this (ie. looking for the coupon matchups, checking the ads, clipping coupons, etc…)? Sometimes I feel like I’m spending a lot of time… Thanks Julia!
Very nice! I’ve never been able to get past the 70% savings mark as Safeway (Vons), so this was a fun video to watch (and learn)!
Great deals Julia. I did most of these today at Tom Thumb (Safeway) and found one more great MM. The Philadelphia cream cheese is on sale for $1.49 with card and I used the following coupons: $0.75/1 from the “Make it tonight. Simple, affordable meals” coupon booklet and $o.55/2 printable coupon. So this is the scenario: Buy 5 Philadelphia cream cheeses for $1.49 * 5 = $ 7.45 and deduct 5 $0.75/1 coupons = – $3.75 and 2 manufacturing coupons $0.55 * 2 = -1.10 For a total of $2.6 OOP. AND a $5.00 catalina printed OYNO making this a $ 2.4 MONEYMAKER.
I love your video, dh just looks at me and shakes his head. I just got back from my own Rite aid shopping trip and then I come to your sight to watch you do the same thing! LOL
