Let me start by saying that Cocoa Pebbles is, obviously, the best cereal in the world, ever. And naturally it’s highly nutritious too.
Well Safeway has Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles for $1.88 right now, and there is also a fantastic catalina offer going on:
Buy 3, Get $2.00
Buy 4, Get $3.00
Buy 5+, Get $4.00
And of course, a printable coupon….
Buy 5 boxes of Post Pebbles at $1.88 each ($9.40) (you can’t have too much Cocoa Pebbles, don’t worry)
Use (2) $1/2 Post Kids Cereals Coupons
Use (2) $1/2 Post Pebbles from RP 6/10
Get a $4 Catalina
Final Price: $0.68 per box!
Thanks for the deal and pictures, Cents Saved!

Is there a limit on how many boxes I can buy and is this a rolling catalina? If I turned around and used this catalina to pay for another five boxes would I get another catalina?
Julia June 28, 2012 at 6:07 pm
I’m not sure Keegan, I haven’t been able to test it myself yet.

And as a bonus, specially-marked Fruity P contain a FREE child ticket offer to 6 Flags
& specially-marked Cocoa P contain a $10/$50 coupon for Party City. I did the deal at Lucky last week and the Catalina printed. And I spotted tags indicating this offer in Nob Hill today ($2 on sale, the Pebbles treats were tagged for catalina too but I forgot to pricecheck treats)

Jolene, I JUST saw your email about that – I’m so sorry I didn’t see it sooner to post it.

Julia,
I just didn’t want Lucky/S-Mart shoppers to miss out on $0.52 cereals last week. $0.68 at Safeway is excellent, too!
No need to be sorry
A recipe idea using Cocoa or Fruity Pebbles~
The cashier who rang-up my order makes “Rice Krispie Treats” & substitutes the Pebbles. She said follow the usual recipe with the marshmallows, butter, and cereal.

Jolene, you just beat me to this — I was about to write the
same thing about the Rice Krispies treats! I suppose you
could also mix the regular Rice Krispies and the Cocoa Pebbles
for a polka-dotty effect.
Julia, I enjoyed your unabashed profession of love for this cereal.
And let’s not forget the added “health bonus” of the cereal turning
the milk chocolatey, therefore encouraging children to finish every
last drop!

In defense of Julia, I wrote that post.

I have used the Cocoa Pebbles when making homemade Clif bars. They worked great!

Ridiculousness assertion. Lucky Charms are obviously superior.

does anyone know what size the box is? I am heading that way soon and want to get the right box
