After reading the Safeway coupon policy I have a question… The policy says “Safeway will accept valid Catalina manufacturer coupons that are issued to a customer by another retailer.” Does this mean when I receive cash back coupons from stores such as CVS or Rite Aid that I can use them towards my groceries at Safeway? Or does this only apply to $ off certain products?
For what I understood, Extra care bucks & Up rewards are not Catalinas since they print on your receipt. Catalinas print out of a separate little printer and are managed by a separate Catalina company.
That’s correct – the only Catalina Coupons that Safeway will accept are the ones that are good on a specific item, not a $ off $$ amount. Also it has to be an actual Catalina Coupon – not an ECB or RR, etc.
How do you use Just for U coupons when ordering online? I went through the process and didn’t see anything.
The Just For U coupons that you load to your card are now seen behind the scenes when you place an order and are taken off of your total when you place your online order. I hope that helps! You do need to register for the Just For U program and make sure your club card is linked with your account.
OK so why can i go as of today on shortcuts and coupons.com and continue to load new ecoupons to my club card? and what about coupons that have very long expiration dates that are currently on my card? Are these going to be null and void?
Laina, unfortunately they have terminated that program. It does appear to be working very spotty in certain areas – but I will say that I have already found a few GREAT deals with my Personalized Prices.
I should also add that they’ve incorporated those coupons into their Coupon Center. The only downside is that we are not longer able to stack them with a paper coupon.
