I have spoken to the asst. manager as well as the store manager at both stores and have been told that there is a new coupon policy being enforced and if I wanted a copy to go to RiteAid.com to view the policy. I have not been able to find an updated coupon policy. Has anyone else had any problems? I do have say that the cashiers werent friendly and werent knowledgeable about the coupon policy(cashier just tried to deny all my coupons at first but I requested to speak with a manager), the managers were apologetic and said they hoped to see me again soon.

The two RiteAid stores in Roseville, CA will not “stack” coupons, they have told me that only one coupon can be used per item, (whether it be a in-ad coupon,or printed manufacture coupon, or coupon from ad perk) . Some people want to use photocopied coupons and thats not allowed so they get turned down. Thats the way it should always be. Some have a copy of the rules, but still try to argue with the cashiers about using illegal coupons. And by the way, some cashiers make more money than you think. Customers need to relax and quit trying to get away with coupon fraud. The Rite Aid cashiers would respect your trying to save money if you respect them for waiting on you and not losing their job over customers that expect everything for free the illegal way!

I shop at Rite Aid all the time and I have found if you stick by the coupon rules then you won’t have a hard time. I've had success with clipping each coupon from the ad separately.

That’s a great question Nancy – I think it’s going to vary by store. If I bought 3 lubriderms, would I get $1 off each one from the in-ad coupon? Would I need to bring in 3 copies of the in-ad coupon? I don't see that covered in their coupon policy, but the in-ad coupons state "one per customer". Just thought you might have some experience with them. Thanks!

Hi Julia – Do you know if Rite-Aid will accept multiples of their in-ad coupons in one transaction? She was very nice and I only spent .98 cents on 4-4packs. Had I been more familar, I guess I could have planned better and spent less than the .98 cents. . .next time;-)

The regional manager called me back and was very apologetic. He called the manager that refused to accept my coupons and cleared things up. I have not had a problem since then. not even a dirty look ;)They also mailed me a copy of their coupon policy which states right on there if you have a bygo on a bygo sale--you get both free! These rouge cashiers need to relax! I would think that someone who works a minimum wage job would understand why people are trying to save money! There is nothing better than getting a nice cashier when it comes to using coupons. The cashiers that get hostile need to consider an alternate career path. Life is too short!Coupon on!

I had a problem a few weeks ago at Rite Aid with coupons. I called the 1800 number on the receipt.
