According to my Raley’s reciept I saved 74% after advertised savings (sale prices), in store coupons, and manufacturer coupons. It also says I purchased 53 items. My total before any coupons was $76.99 and after coupons I paid$28 and change, making each item around $0.54 each.
I didn’t think I would be able to get to $75 but it wasn’t as hard as I thought. There were several great deals this week at Raley’s and since the FREE eCoupons count towards your total that gave me a good start.
All in all I only used (2) FREE manufacturer coupons, the rest were Sunday coupons, tear pad coupons, and Raley’s eCoupons. I even splurged on a $5.00 pack of Aidells Sausage!
I like to hand over the Raley’s eCoupons first and definitely the $10/$75 coupon before anything else.

Just went and spent $80 and some change! Originally I would have spent over $138…I scored tons! Between all the freebies and additional off for the pre-coupon total ($20!)…I even scored 5 packs of ribs and a pork shoulder! Nice….and I received a catalina for $3.00 for buying the garbage bags and some cleaner! My hubby was shocked! (BTW….since I purchased 6 packs of meat I got an extra 10% all the meat I purchased!!! Awesome deals!!!!
….okay, looked at my receipt again…I saved $145.42 (64%)……..66 items……..some day I will reach that high percentage rate! But I am thrilled!
Hey Julia. Any chance you have the prices of the Raleys Free coupon items handy? I am going to run there later tonight and I was trying to figure out my $75, but don’t know the price of the Free items??? If it is not easy…please don’t waste your time, but that might be helpful to a few others as well. Thanks for all your hard work! I just won another friend over to couponing today with your help

I didn’t realize the $75 was before coupons!!! I missed the opportunity by only $15 this time but will do better next time…I could have received $15 more groceries for only $5 more. Darn!! Thanks for your post, now I know better.
I noticed some of you bought meat…if there are any beer drinkers out there I noticed a mail-in rebate on 12-packs of Corona for up to $10 back when you purchase at least $10 in meat. Free meat if you’re buying your beer anyway.

Your shopping trip looks a lot like mine this morning! Bagel Bites, Cheez Its, Mission Tortillas, Ortega Tostadas, Jif, Waffles, 8 Boxes Trix/Chex/Cheerios, and Fresh Express. Before coupons I was at $96 and much to my surprise $15 came off instead of $10 from the $10/$15/$20 IP!
I also bought 2 Crunchmasters Crackers ($2 minus $1 IP), 16 Fuze ($1 each and used the $1/2 mq), 2 Splenda Brown Sugar Substitute ($4.99 minus $3 mq), 6 Athenos Greek Yogurt ($1.25 minus Buy 2, Get 1 Free), and 2 donuts to keep the kiddos quiet while I shopped. My total after coupons was $26.13…82% which I didn’t think was possible at Raleys, lol!
OH! And I got a $3 CAT for buying 2 Splenda items. Since my Wags has long been out of Splenda I was happy to find a deal somewhere!
Those E coupons this week were amazing….anyone who says Raley’s is too expensive doesn’t know how to take advantage of their coupons and sales!

And I also have to say kudos to Raley’s – the double-sided receipt ROCKS. Wouldn’t it be great if they could e-mail you your receipt like the ATM does?
Just thought I’d share a little about my Raleys trip today. I was able to use a several free coupons for Marizetti, Iams & Similac which helped bring the total up to $125.
**Also, there are multiple peelies on the Padrino’s chip bags, for $.55 off sour cream and $1.50 off beef which I wasn’t planning on purchasing, but looks like fajitas will be on the menu now.
Brought my total from $125. down to $37. incl. Tax. 77% Which is less than the cost of the 40 lb. bag of Iams purchased, just amazing!

…..looked at my receipt…and I saved over $145! I must have looked away from the register at the grand total! I spent $80.42 on 66 items!
So I didn’t do quite as well as you, but I got 45 items for $41.70 and saved $86 or 67%! it would have been better, but I got approx $20 worth of meat for a barbeque we are having tommorrow. Still pretty good though for only couponing for about a month!!
great deals. I went for the big one. $20 off. Lots of pizza. used the digornio and tonys’ coupons from the march frozen deals. they expire today. still had a few printed gm cereal coupons. Lots of chips and salsa but hey its Cinco de Mayo next week. $35 in manufactor coupons with 2 free. According to my receipt I saved 183.85, a savings of 69%.
Before store savings and coupons $183. After $80 plus $3 to spend next time.

I see you purchased 2 jose Ole but the coupon says 1 per person. If you use 1 coupon did the price change to 3.99 for both or did u use 2 store coupons? I have 2 mfc and want 2 packages. Thanks.

Are we able to use MC’s on the “freebie” items? I have a $.50/1 Fresh Express salad. Is there a specific sequence in which I should hand the coupons to the cashier?
i used a mc on the smuckers waffles no problem.
at raleys i always give them their coupons first but at raleys I think either way is fine.
I just did my big shopping trip there and the Jose Ole taquitos were already priced at 3.99. I don’t think I even needed the printable but I handed it over anyway because I had it! So I bought 2 that rang up 3.99, then used 2 $1/1 coupons.
All in all I spent 62.61, saved $104.64, and got a $3 catalina for trash bags + bbq sauce!
My cashier said that they don’t accept internet printed coupons anymore, he said that they just started doing that and wouldn’t accept them, so my total was about $5 higher. Did anyone else have any problems with the store not accepting the internet printables?
I was so proud of my Raley’s trip until I read this post! My initial total was $118, and I ended up paying $74, a 51% savings… and my bill said I had $80 saved. I got 55 items, yet everyone else seemed to get so much more for so much less! I only bought items from the circular or a Raley’s Daily. I used the three freebies, the $ back coupon, and the chip/salsa coupon, plus a handful of the e-coupons, and my manufacture coupon for the Pardino’s chips. what did I miss?? I am new at this, but want to learn how to increase my savings as we are soon going to be a family of 4, and I want to save as much as I can!
and I love Raley’s. My Walmart in town has horrible produce, and the other store is The Nugget which is just way too pricey for me 
Christy for maximum savings you almaost need a coupon for mostly all the items. out of the 91 items I purchased, I only had 4 items that were not part of a promotion or coupon.
