My Mom is my inspiration!! She had ovarian cancer about 6 years ago, endured surgery and chemo, all with a determination to beat it…and she DID !! All with a smile on her face and Starbucks coffees for her nurses. She is a super healthy and happy Grandma now!! We are SO lucky!

My grandmother had cancer four different times. (One was skin cancer, but I think it still counts) The two others she beat were breast and colon cancer. She was always so careful about what she ate (no sugar, she believed sugar grew cancer cells, no meat except lamb or fish) and was careful to exercise. I loved her so much and she was so helpful at teaching me many things as a little girl (cooking, piano, Bible verses). Unfortunatly, she developed another type of cancer as a result of radiation therapy she had to cure the colon cancer and she lived longer than all odds gave her, but she died last year. She was really important to me.
