Since finding my Vitamix at a garage sale for $20, I’ve been whipping together all sorts of smoothies! Today we finished off the last of our jar of Nutiva Coconut Oil making these Homemade Granola Bars but there was still a wee bit left. So I stuck the container in microwave for 25 seconds to get every last drop of the delicious coconut oil.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks (I had some in my freezer from several months back when they were $0.99 each at Fred Meyer!)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup Vanilla Silk Almond Milk ($1/1 Silk Pure Almond Milk Coupon) or you can make your own!
- 1 tsp Nutiva Coconut Oil
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 tbsp of honey (optional)
It’s that simple, blend it up and you’ve got a delicious and refreshing Pina Colada smoothie! This would make a large smoothie for an adult or 6 small child’s size smoothies.
Now since we’re out of Nutiva Coconut Oil I’m on the hunt for a deal, here are 3 ideas for you…

Now that they’ve managed a contract with Nutiva you can ensure it stays or even that it shows up at your specific store by leaving comment cards in their suggestion box for it! I am so thrilled to get it at this price that I’ll write on every time! Lol
