Pacific Credit Union & The Frugal Find bring you a $75.00 Money Maker!

by Julia on October 6, 2009
Miscellaneous

This is an INSANE promotion thanks to Pacific Credit Union.  If you open a Free Checking Account with eStatements and you are a NEW member you will AUTOMATICALLY get $50.00 in your account, like today, to spend right now.  I walked in this afternoon and 20 minutes later I walked out with temporary checks and an ATM card (no waiting 7-10 business days).  20 minutes and I had $50.00 in my account.  If you’ve read our story, this is just one of many ways God has provided for our family over the past 10 weeks.

It gets even better. If you email me for a referral code, compliments of The Frugal Find, you’ll get an additional $25.00 on November 6th!

** Offer ends October 30th! **

5.  Employees of our Select Employee Groups (SEGs)
6.  Those who work regularly for companies served by Pacific Service Credit Union including contractors or temporary employees who work on assignment at a 7.  PG&E location, independent contractors on assignment for PG&E and employees of vendors associated with Corestaff
8.  Employees and employers of public or private energy-based entities located in California or Texas
Any Fine Print?

1.  Be sure to specify you want to participate in the $50.00 promotion as well as the $25.00 referral promotion.

3.  There is no minimum deposit required, I didn’t give them a penny.
4.  You can close the account at any time, but you will want to wait until November 6th for your $25.00 referral payment.
5.  Ask for the Free Checking account (no direct deposit required).
6.  $5.00 of your $50.00 is used to open your Free Savings Account, but you can immediately transfer it out.

Personal Experience:

Like I said above, 20 minutes and I was out.  I went to my local PCU in Pleasant Hill on Contra Costa Blvd. next to where the Lyon’s used to be.  I was very surprised to be given an ATM card the same day.  My husband will also be signing up for an account, as well as our kids!  Yes you can sign your kids up too!  I’d love to hear your experiences too, please check back in and leave acomment after you’ve signed up for your $75.00 Money Making account!

Thanks Julia, I just setup my account online and made sure to mention your name, referral code, but there was nothing about $50 for free checking with ebill? I followed all of the instructions too? Am I doing something wrong?

Reply

Julia October 8, 2009 at 2:30 pm

Hey Jason, great question. If you’re applying online you will have to call and let them know you just set up a NEW Free Checking account and you would like to have it be a part of the $50 promo offer. I’ve had several readers do it online with no problems. Thanks for asking!
