Awhile back I made a goal, it all started when I realized something about myself.  I was trying too hard at times to stretch my money (especially when it comes to gift cards) that I wasn’t ending up with anything of value.  While it is fun to see how much you can get for your money, sometimes in the end it’s even nicer to have a quality item that will last a long time.  That’s when I decided to set a goal with my Swagbucks, instead of cashing them out here and there for Starbucks gift cards, Amazon gift cards, and so on.  Those are nice but I had something else in mind.

I shared about a couple of bloggers who’ve saved up for a really long time and bought very nice items with their Swagbucks,  I was challenged.  Deal Seeking Mom bought a Kindle and Kingdom First Mom bought a Wii.

Just as I was writing this I searched for something and won 2 more Swagbucks!

swagbucks-2-bucks

I set a goal to buy an iPhone with my Swagbucks.  On November 22nd, I was 13.6% of the way there and today January 14th, I am 47% of the way there!  I can’t believe how quickly it’s adding up, just a few more months and I should be at 100%!

Do you have Swagbucks goals?  Have you signed up for Swagbucks yet?  If not…I’d highly suggest you do – it’s free and you can earn GREAT prizes!  You don’t have to set huge goals, or you can!

I’ve written a Swagbucks 101 post, with all the details and info you should need to get started on your way to some really fun prizes!  Check it out!

You go, girl! I was just telling myself that I need to save my swagbucks. It’s so easy to get that $5 Amazon gift card. I need to holdback and practice delayed gratification. Thanks for the inspiration. :-)

That is so awesome! I was able to pay for almost all of our Christmas with my swawbucsk through Target and Amazon… but I agree… one nice thing to show for it would be really neat. You have inspired me to go in search of a BIG reward ;)

make that swagbucks, not swawbucsk…don’t want you to think that I am a tipsy blogger ;) lol.
(it’s just that being tackled by a toddler makes it hard to type!)

I love swagbucks! I just signed up about two months ago, and they add up quickly! I am saving for two of the $50 Southwest Airlines giftcards- enough to take my babies to fly home to see my parents!

Oh, how I love Swagbucks! I joined in end of October-ish, and have already gotten a few Amazon gift cards and money thru Paypal (which has been used little by little to pay down debt, I know only small dollar amounts, but hey-anything helps!) . I’ve looked at a few of the larger items to save for, but really all we need right now is gift cards for food, household items, and money to save and pay down debt with. Maybe later I’ll save up for something BIG!

Since I started my blog http://itscrazycheap.blogspot.com/ I’ve really racked up the Swagbucks. I don’t know if more people are using my Swagbucks link to do searches or what or if it’s the fact that I’ve learned to due two searches a day (morning and night) instead of just one. I went from 30 swagbucks about a month ago to 99. I am saving up for gift cards to Disneyworld. We are planning on going in the spring of 2011 and the more gift cards I can save up for the easier it will be to take the trip! I’m doing that with all of my sites…getting food or Disneyworld gift cards (only in the largest denomination available) so the trip will be easier on our budget. We’re a military family so we’ll take all the deals we can get!!!!

Thanks for your encouragement. I’m off to read your Swagbucks 101 post!
