It’s very frustrating to see this and know that in my rural area – where it is very important to shop locally – Safeway doesn’t double coupons. PLEASE Safeway…make is a nationwide policy to have double days or offers. We need it.

Kari, I totally hear you. Now to just to clarify, because there is a great misconception about double coupons. We do not get to literally double our coupons and there is a limit. We can “double” 4 coupons (basically add $0.50 to the value of them) and only 4 per transaction. So a total extra savings of $2.

I did 2 transactions to get 8 cocoa crispies by rolling the first cat into the second transaction. So not only did I pay $0.38/box, I also got a free 3D movie ticket ($15 value) because each box had a movie code. LOL I am bringing a lot of rice crispy treats to next few bbqs @ parties.

twice now my checker has only accepted coupons for one item on the B1G1 sales…still, I got an additional $1 catalina from Glade plus the $4 cereal catalina, so I was only out $4.53, less $1.03 tax…not bad for the 4 Glade items and 4 boxes of cereal

Yeah, I wasn’t able to use the second coupon for the free item. My Vons’ also stated that they will not accept Internet coupons higher than $1.00. Anyone else experience that?
