I’ve begun Back to School shopping, it’s secretly one of my favorite kind of shopping! Yesterday I stopped into Office Max to grab a couple of the deals from this week’s Back to School sale. I spotted a $5 off 3 Sharpie product coupon on the $1 Sharpie 12pk display. So I took the coupon to the writing utensil aisle to see what kind of deal I could work up. I found 2pks of Sharpies for just $2.29, so I grabbed 2 of those and 1 of the 12pk sale package for only $0.58 after the $5 coupon! Another idea would be the 4pk of Sharpie Highlighters on sale Buy 2, Get 1 Free ($3.00 each regularly).
I also used a $5 off $25 coupon from in the ad. You should note though that it took the $5 off my batteries for some strange reason, so instead of getting back the full $16.98, I’ll get back $11.98 for one package. I guess this is to prevent overage or money maker scenarios.

With my receipt I also got a $10 off $25 Payless Shoe Source coupon! The total retail value of these products was $50.53, I paid $30.56 and I’ll get back $28.96 in Max Perks Rewards (to be used at Office Max on my next shopping trip!)

How does Max Perks Rewards work? Is it like Staple Rewards were it is store credit that is mailed to you?
