Thank Julia so much for doing this! The coupon I just got says BOGO single serve up to 4.99 though not $7.99 for the family size. Did your coupon say the same thing?

Ya it looks like it was an earlier promotion, I still have the pdf coupon and it doesn’t expire until mid march. So for those that still have there it will work.

Is Safeway the same as Genuardi’s?
Laurie, yes it is an affiliate store but I can’t say for sure if the sales/catalinas are the same. Here is a list of affiliated stores… Safeway, Vons, Pavillions, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Carr’s, Randall’s and Tom Thumb locations across the country. I hope that helps!
on a somewhat unrelated note, i am teaching a neighbor how to shop more effectively, but am wondering if you use food stamps for the frozen food, will it still give you the catalina? i can’t seem to find the answer, and hope someone out there will know…………
Yes, even if you pay with food stamps you will get the same catalinas! Hopefully she knows she can use coupons too!
I am headed to a Safeway store in a town about two hours away for the first time and am going to try several deals with coupons, etc., but I am wondering on the $10.00 -OYNO, would they let you use it on your next transaction? doing two transactions right in a row? Darn it… now I want a freezer even more… my freezer is full in my fridge
between the bulk cooking and the bulk buying w/ deals and coupons, there is barely room for a frozen banana to be added… let alone a stockpile of pizzas, etc.

The cashier didn’t let me use the 3 different smart ones coupons.
I could only use the $3 off 10, and 2 $2 off safeway coupons. No $10 CAT was printed. The manager said it has to be $25 after coupons. Too bad.
