Can I use the $10 catalina for the same transaction but different products. Will it print again?

So I have a question. I must be missing something.
Buy 10 participating cereals at 2.77 ea. get $10 off instantly, $5.00 off in coupon savings, = $12.70. plus tax should be around $13.87 for me but you paid only $11 something. Then get a coupon for next order. Just hypothetically, buy 2 eggo waffles, @ 2.77 ea, 4 crackers @ 2.77 ea. 2 pop tarts @ 2.77 ea and 2 more boxes of cereal @ 2.77 ea. that’s 27.70 – the $10.00 of instantly, – $5.00 in coupons, – $10.00 in catalina = $2.70 yet I’m seeing that you paid $1.27. What am I missing?

We aren’t charged tax on food (at least here in CA).

This is what the math should/could look like:

Buy 10 Items – $27.70
-$10 Instant Savings
- (4) $1/2 Coupons
Pay: $13.70
Get $10 Catalina Coupon
Final Price: $3.70/10 Items or $0.37 ea

The $1.27 was just an example of what that item would cost before the catalina coupon, but it should have said $1.37. If you only have (4) $1/2 coupons each item will cost $0.37 ea.

Oh thank you. I actually have (5) $1/2 coupons so that is the $5.00 off coupons I was talking about. And I forgot about tax. Silly me! Thanks I get it now. :)

One more question sorry to bug you. Did you have to make seperate trips to Save Mart or did they allow you to do multiple transactions at yours. And which Save Mart or Lucky’s did you go to. In Antioch we have 2 so I could go back and forth between the two if they are picky or go on different days.
Thanks,
Denise

I paid in 3 separate transactions. I wish I knew what street the Save Mart is on…it’s off of Putnam if that helps :)
