The latest turn of events with the Kmart Doubles (and now I am remembering the vow I took to never shop at Kmart again) is that they are going to require you to sign up for a Shop Your Way Rewards card in order to take advantage of the Double Days. From what I heard if you do not have the card in time there is a way you can print off your membership.

Here are the latest details from Kmart:
- Manufacturer Coupons up to and including $2 Value Doubled up to $2 no matter what the retail price of a single item is.
- In-store Activation MUST BE tied to SYWR (Shop Your Way Rewards) card-offer is only good when the SYWR card is swiped FIRST.
- Does not include Kmart Store Coupons
- Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
- Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day.
- First 5 coupons provided by customer will be doubled.

GOOD information. We really need to hand the clerk our things in the order we want them rang up. That is so silly, the computer should take care of those details!!! As far as the reward card, it is easy to sign up for online and print, but I would do it now. The reason I say it is it takes awhile for your real card to come in and the one you print…the cashier had to hand type mine in, and with a huge number there is a lot of room for human error. Also she didn’t think it would work because the lady in line ahead of me, hers didn’t work. The difference was I had signed up a few days before and she had signed up at home earlier in the day. So just get it over with so you are ready!
I was just reading through the FAQs on Kmart’s site about the program and it made it seem like you should be able to tell the associate your phone number to use your membership if you don’t have your card by then.

Worst experience of my life!! Now I know why I never go to Kmart! After 1.5 HOURS in Kmart I left shaking I was so mad. FYI you can’t use BOGO coupons during doubles week!
hi there! I saw a store that does it in the next town over. I called them and they said they just did doubles and they never know when its on. How do you tell when the store is doubling or not??? Does it say in the advertisement?
