Small. Steady. Words of encouragement as we strive to save money every week! Even small savings, when sustained over time, add up to big savings. Week after week, I shop at the 99 Cents Only Store first. It’s a part of my routine, and I have eight years of sustained small savings. Small & steady wins the race — keep at it
Here’s my shopping cart today:
1. Tropicana Peach Orchard OR Apple Punch, chilled 59 oz.
2. Tree Top Trim Mango Peach OR Pomegranate Juice, 48 oz.
3. Deli Fresh Turkey Pastrami, 8 oz.
4. Oscar Mayer Selects Roast Beef, 7 oz.
5. Breakstones Cottage Cheese, big 24 oz.
6. Simply Kraft FF Sour Cream, 16 oz.
7. Whole Seedless Watermelon
8. Lemondrop Melon
9. Patriotic Headbands for 4th of July
10. Bayer Advanced Tablets, big 100 ct.
Not pictured: Cheerios Dulce de Leche Cereal, 12 oz. found at the Willow Pass Rd store over the weekend
Did you miss out on the $3 Bayer Advanced insert coupon to get a FREE 20 ct. at CVS or Walgreens this week? How about 100 ct. for $1, no coupons necessary? And you have until Dec. 2012 to use all those tablets. I’m most excited about my Lemondrop Melon! The label says: “Sweet melon flavor with a lemon twist!” Sounds refreshing and unique! I will report back after we’ve tasted. My store has begun stocking the patriotic 4th of July items. Cute patriotic headbands (pictured), glowsticks, tableware, and small American flags (6 ct).

The Antioch store also had one gallon jugs of the Peach Punch

One gallon, wow, that’s a great deal!
Did Antioch have any nice cherries?

Just curious, My 99 cent store has change a lot lately. Are you still paying 99 cents for most items? Mine hase increased the prices to 1.49 and up. I am finding it harder and harder to find items priced 99Cents.

Dianna,
As of my last visit, my store has NOT raised prices like you’ve described. I will shop tomorrow & check.
