99 cents only 3-12

My children’s Spring Break is right around the corner!  That means travel, playdates, and more physical outdoor activities.  I’m planning ahead & buying snacks now at the 99 Cents Only Store to avoid paying full price later on those last-minute runs:

1.   Food Should Taste Good Chips, Party Pack 11oz (!)
2.   Simply Fruit Twist Snacks, 6ct
3.   Bakers Premium White or Dark Chocolate, 6oz
4.   Fresh Grapes
5.   Coffeemate Eggnog Latte Creamer, 32oz
6.   Pop Tarts, 8-12ct
7.   My 3D for iPhone + iPod Touch by Hasbro
Not pictured:  Quaker Stila Fruit Bars 6ct

Head on over and get more details if you’re interested in the My 3D device for iPhone and iPod Touch. This item was located in the front lobby at the Clayton Rd store.  The Food Should Taste Good Chips came in Sweet Potato or Cantina Tortilla flavors, and because they’re oversized look for black cardboard shipper shelves set-up throughout the store. They also had Barbeque flavor, but those were not the Party Pack size.   Pop Tarts were available in Pumpkin Pie (12ct) and in Strawberry or Brown Sugar Cinnamon (8cts).  Happy Hunting!

  1. Brainstorm of good uses for Baker’s Premium White Or Dark Chocolate:

Fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate w/ or w/o sprinkles :)
Oreo Double Stuff Cookies dipped halfway in chocolate :)
Dried Apricots dipped halfway in chocolate :)
Pretzel Rods dipped in chocolate w/ sprinkles :)
Wonder if cake pops would work?
Feel free to add your brainstorm ideas for Easter Treats…

  2. Awesome! I can’t wait to shop tomorrow! I’ll report back what I find. I’ll definitely be looking for the chips & the fruit twists!

  3. Thanks for sharing the great deals. Which 99 cent store do you do your shopping?
    Thanks

  4. I wasn’t able to find the fruit twists, grapes or the sweet potato chips.

I found a ton of stuff though, always do & never leave there empty handed, lol.

I found Old El Paso Dinner Kits, Betty Crocker Shake & Pour Cupcake Mix, Athenos Feta Cheese, Quaker Tomato Basil Popped Rice Cakes, and a ton more! I even found tennis rackets to connect to your Wii remotes, when you play tennis games on the Wii. If you would like to check out my full shopping trip, please click on my name above.

  5. Although they weren’t 99cents, I still stocked up on the organic fresh blueberries…1.5 lbs for $1.99 each (I bought several so I can freeze them). I usually miss all the good deals on Tuesdays, but Saturday has been pretty good to me lately!

    • Hi Barbie, good to see you again — So I am wondering if the special pricing of $1.99 was posted on a sign for your Organic Blueberries? Usually if an item is NOT $.99 they are good about posting a sign. So far, I have seen non-$.99 prices for Gallon of Milk and for Eggs 18ct and 30ct. Have not seen non-$.99 prices for produce yet, so thanks for the heads up! Great deal on organic blues, enjoy!

        Hey Jolene-
Yes, they were very good at marking the blueberries with the special pricing…I was still willing to pay $2 for organic fresh fruit though! I thought it was interesting that they had both organic and non-organic for the same price and quantity. Needless to say, our family already blew through 1.5 lbs on Sunday and halfway thru our second container…not sure I’ll have any left to freeze! :)

      • Hey Jolene-
They did indicate that the price of the blueberries was $1.99, which I appreciated…While I would have loved to only pay $1 for 1.5 lbs of organic blueberries, I certainly am not going to complain about paying $2! Our family has already eaten one package in one day and started on another…not sure I’ll have any left to freeze for later!
