Normally, I do not enjoy grocery shopping on stormy days … but it’s 99 Cents Only Store trip day! And totally worth braving the rain for these gems:
1. Lightlife Kick’n Black Bean Burgers 4ct, 10oz frozen (!)
2. Fresh Avocados, 4ct (!)
3. Good Grains Steel Cut Oats, 15oz
4. TJ Farms Select Blueberries, 10oz frozen
5. Yoplait Fruplait Yogurt, 4pk
6. Yoplait Baby Yogurt, 4pk
7. Jo Ann Blank Cards + Envelopes, 50ct (retail $6.99!)
8. Hallmark Multipack Notecards (retail $4.49)
The Lightlife Kick’n Black Bean Burgers are normally found in Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. I thought $1 for a package of 4 was a bargain. Planning on serving the burgers topped with the fresh avocado and a little salsa! If you’d like to try making Homemade Black Bean Burgers, here is the TFF recipe. The Lightlife burgers are non-GMO, too! I love the Good Grains Steel Cut Oats as hot oatmeal mixed with blueberries on cold, stormy mornings (well, any morning!) If you’ve never tried steel cut oats, you’re missing out! Finally, a nice shipment of assorted Hallmark Multipack Notecards + Envelopes ranging from 10-12ct has arrived! I am very old-fashioned & insist that my kids handwrite and mail Thank You notes after birthdays or Christmas. What about you? Handwritten notes are a nice tradition to maintain, I feel, in our modern digital world. I thought the Jo Ann Value Pack of Blank Cards + Envelopes 50ct was a good deal — and you could personalize the cards with photos of your child playing (or wearing) the gift. Look for the Value Pack beneath the Hallmark packs in the Party Aisle!
