UPDATE: I’ve noticed several comments coming in that the price has gone up dramatically. I hope many of you were able to get it at the low $15 price – and as always with deals like this all we can do is cross our fingers and hope the orders aren’t cancelled. I’ll keep you updated for sure.

I just looked —- TWO HOURS (or more) after they supposedly discovered the error and it STILL says $15.00 on the site….. don’t they have to honor that price if you ordered and have a confirmation???? Anyone know????

Anyone get a cancelation email? I haven’t, but my sister in law did…weird that it wouldn’t be sent to all purchasers. I’m still hoping I get mine!!
@ Sandra — I haven’t gotten one yet, either. Earlier today I checked “order status” & it still said scheduled to be shipped Jan. 10th. A waiting game, I guess. It used to be that stores HAD to, by law, honor advertised prices UNLESS there was a disclaimer from the printer (such as the newspaper etc) that it was THEIR error and not the stores error. I don’t know whether that’s still in effect or applies to webpages….. but since it’s Penneys website they can’t blame the error on an outside vendor like a grocery store could blame a newspaper.
My email said that it will be shipped in one week. went to JCPenny’s website to track my order and it says the status of my order is Pending Shipment, and that the Expected Ship Date is 1/10/2012. So I hope that means that it will not be canceled.

well i bought one last night and still haven’t received a cancellation email…fingers crossed they honor the purchase! But I have looked on their site and they have taken the table off. Hopefully my set will ship on the 11th like they said…once again fingers crossed!!
i think they should be made to honor the price.the ones that gets a cancel notice needs to call them and say oh but no you need to honor this.id be on their website to see what the policy said..
