*HOT* $50 worth of Lock & Lock Products for as low as $18!

Daily Deals

I bought this deal on a whim a while back, I was in need of some storage containers and it was a really good deal.  Ever since then I’ve been hoping for another deal!  I bought the tall slender containers, taped the packaging/nutritional info to the outside of the containers and use them in my pantry.  They work so well!

Today on Plum District you can get a $50 Worth of Food Storage Containers and More from Lock & Lock for just $23!  There are a few ways to save even more.   If you’re new to Plum District and you sign up through this link you’ll get a $5 credit in your account making today’s deal only $18.  Also if you use a Visa card to pay with (I’m hoping this works with Visa Debit cards and not just credit cards) and you use coupon code VISA10 at checkout you’ll get another 10% off!

Stack the savings!

Sign up for Plum District through this link you’ll get a $5 credit
Use  coupon code VISA10 at checkout you’ll get another 10% off (when you pay with a Visa card)

Also last time around I shopped the Lock & Lock sale area and got the bins pictured above for around $2 each!  There are so many items under $5, you could really stretch $50 quite far!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Frugal: Did you read my mind? Have you been talking to my kids about how many lids we have with no bottoms? We have been in desperate need of new containers! THANK YOU FOR THIS DEAL! Got mine for $15.70 after the discounts. Can’t wait to go spend it. :)

The Frugal Find how do you organize your Tupperware? Mine is a disaster area and it is driving me crazy!

I’m not TFF, But I keep 3 piles…One for Squares, One for Rounds & One for rectangles. I put the lids underneath each size. You can fit more in if you put the deeper dishes inside the shallow ones. Most fit this way. Strays go to the side of the 3 piles. About once a year, I pull everything out and take out anything that doesn’t have its match. I don’t throw it away. I just put them in the garage for random needs. I have very little cabinet space, so I take this seriously. I wish I could do the same for paperwork and laundry! ;-) Good Luck!

I didn’t get the $5 credit from the link after signing up… And the 10% is only taking 2 cents off not 2.30…maybe I will try later, anyone else have this problem?

I was looking into and I can get 24 small containers for $50.16 :) Perfect for making and storing large batches of soup! I was looking for a deal to get a whole bunch of small containers and I think I just found it!

Thanks! Just bought two. I looked at QVC to compare prices, and this deal is better. Excited to have my grains and freezer under control!

Heather, the majority of ours is currently being used for long term storage like the items pictured in this post. For left-over type meals we use disposable (that we don’t throw away) such as glad or ziploc containers that were purchased on sale with a coupon. They just stack on the bottom shelf in our pantry.

Which code Danae? The Visa one?

No the one to redeem the voucher at lock & lock

The VISA (used my debit card!) code worked perfectly and made my total through Plum District $20.70. I was looking around their site before I purchased the deal and wonder if that somehow screwed up the process? After I went through all the steps I was thinking this better work :(

Okay, I think I figured it out – you have to follow the instructions on the Plum District voucher and register with locknlock first….they then send you a confirmation email…you click on the link in the email, then when you’re checking out, add your PD voucher code to the Discount box. Worked for me that way. Hope this helps. :-)

I haven’t tried to use mine yet, but it’s common for there to be a 24 waiting period before the codes are valid. It does say to make sure you put it in the “Discount Code” field, in case you were trying to put it elsewhere.

I was wondering if maybe it was just too soon to use it. I guess I will wait and try again tomorrow and hope that is the problem.

I have registered with plum district and locknlck, got my email from pd and it says view voucher. I click on that and it says none purchased. Where do I get my code?

Reply

Julia February 16, 2012 at 1:40 pm

After you purchase the voucher, log into your Plum District account and click “Purchased Deals” you’ll see it there.

courtney February 16, 2012 at 1:44 pm

So annoying. It says no vouchers purchased but I go an email saying purchased

Reply

courtney February 16, 2012 at 1:51 pm

I’m thinking this is a scam

Reply

Julia February 16, 2012 at 1:59 pm

Courtney, I’ve worked with Plum District for years it is not a scam. Check and see if you see a charge on your credit card or bank account, then if so contact Plum District. They will be happy to help you get your voucher code.

Is this still working? Do you have to enter a certain state or shopping area? I don’t see it.
