Was at safeway in Bend yesterday and was told that I couldn’t use multiples of the exact same coupon. He was a new cashier and was just trained so I guess its true. I was also going for a catalina on gogurts but it didn’t print
Not the best trip for me. Have you run into this multiple coupon rule at safeway??

I’m not exactly sure what kind of deal you were trying, but it is Safeway’s policy to NOT allow a second coupon on the free item of a BOGO sale. However many of their policies vary depending on the store manager’s preferences. So even though they are set – they are somewhat flexible. I’ve had great luck at the Safeway by Costco.

It was a coupon for gogurt yogurts, a certain amount off two from a newspaper insert. I had two of the same one and bought 4 gogurts. But it wasn’t a bogo deal. They were on sale, I had the coupons and the doubler, and I was shooting for some catalinas. So I thought it would be a good deal. I was at the Safeway by Costco but I think I’m going to start shopping the Century drive one.
Do you know anything about the gogurts catalina deal? Maybe its just not in our region??
BTW, I met you at the Elks game the other day. It was awesome to run into you, I read this blog daily and I look forward to some coupon classes! Thank you for your ministry!
