I was contacted by a PR rep with Hallmark cards offering a review opportunity and an awesome giveaway for 3 lucky readers. As you most certainly know, moms experience moments that can only be fully appreciated by other moms. To help encourage moms through the day-to-day challenges of motherhood – and give a few laughs along the way – Hallmark has introduced a new line of humor cards called “Edge of Motherhood.” I recieved the cards and right off the bat the first couple had me laughing pretty good. They were so easy to relate to and my mind immediately bean making a list of friends who’d love to get these cards. You’re going to love them and their price, they start at only $0.99 each! Funny and Frugal!
My favorite was this one:

A recent national survey.com/missioned by Hallmark revealed two-thirds of moms say they handle the imperfect moments of motherhood by sharing funny stories with other moms about their experiences, and that 8 in 10 moms turn to each other for candid, empathetic, and unapologetic support and reassurance that “we are all in this together.” Ideally, these new, edgy humor cards will help moms share a laugh, connect with one another and celebrate motherhood — and they start at just 99 cents.
3 lucky winners will recieve the following:
Each winner will receive a total of 10 cards – 5 of the Edge of Motherhood cards, and five of the mom-to-kid encouragement cards.
To participate in this giveaway you can enter one time in each of the categories, for a total of 6 entries.

My favorite memory with my kids is camping!

My favorite memory or moment happens everyday when I go to pick him up after work and he comes running into my arms…melts me everyday!
Haha, the most recent is when my son gave me a kiss, and we looked up at the tv and a couple was making out.. my son looked at me and said “let’s do that now!” LOL. Uh, NO!
When our oldest was 2, she had just watched Toy Story…she stood on the edge of the couch, jumped and then landed (on her behind) and proclamed…”MIMI can’t fly”.
I am a friend on FB!
I love those cards that only other mothers understand!
I am a friend on facebook too!
thanks
i am a friend on facebook as well, but i have a funny moment to share
at lunch time my 3.5 yr old daughter said “mommy i wish i had a tail, cody (our dog) is sooo lucky”
Hmmm…a favorite memory with one of my kids… Some of my biggest laughs are when I look back at outrageous situations that I never pictured having to deal with as a mom. Instructions about bodily noises & body parts come to mind.
I took my toddler son into a dressing room with me and soon discovered I had started my period. Of course my son noticed and screamed “mom you pooped your pants”. The ladies previously chattering next to me seemed to quiet down. I was sweating bullets and quickly mumbled….”no I didn’t I just sat on a piece of fudge”.
Hmmm….I wonder if anyone bought that? Maybe I was better off loudly explaining what menstruation was.
Deborah – Great idea on a link to the basics for newbies and I am SO glad that wasn’t me in your story, wow poor mommy!
I blogged about your giveaway. Thanks for the entry!
Some of my favorite memories are indeed the ones that mortify you when they happen, but are pretty funny later on down the road. However, instead, I’m going to share how my kids will sometimes hear one word when I said another and I don’t correct them because it’s so cute to hear the one they think I said. For example, my daughter thought the word “nickname” was pronounced “knick knack name.” I guess she was confusing it with knick knack paddywack. And my son asked, just this morning, if I was taking my daughter to the doctor on Robot Parkway. It’s actually Roebuck Parkway! So cute! This was fun sharing! Thanks!
When my daughters say “I DO IT” ….. and then don’t!
My favorite memory was after we put our son in school after home schooling (5th grade) after school when I was waiting in the car for him (5ht grade parents didn’t go to the class room to get them- haha!) every day I would see him in my rear view mirror, running up smiling- like he couldn’t wait to get to the van! priceless!
