Dang it! They’re not in my area (Concord). If anyone wanted to set up one of those community drops, I would totally be in.
I’ll buy a box if we can arrange for enough people before the day is over!
I would love to be the drop or host spot if needed:)
Thanks that is so sweet of you! I just posted in on The Frugal Find Facebook wall too, so let’s see if we get others to chime in and commit to buying as well!
I’m in. I can’t imagine eating $50 worth of produce before it goes bad, but so need some new choices and I know my extended family will be happy to take some off my hands.
We have this locally! Don’t fret!

Shooting Star Farms in Fairfield has a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), where you buy a “share” for about $25 a week, you get tons of fresh produce WITH recipes! You get a lot, but not so much that you can’t use it during the week. THey have pick up locations in Walnut Creek.
That’s awesome Sarah! Thanks for the info. I take it from FB and here that we didn’t have our 10. Glad to know I have options though. I’ll be checking them out
I don’t have the link handy, but you can google CSA then your city and find tons of options. Shooting Star Farms isn’t the only one. They are all pretty reasonably priced, extremely fresh, and so so so local!!
Yep, doesn’t look like we got 10. Let me know if you try another local service – I’d love to hear how it goes!
