Are they two different add or is it the front and back?

I think it is the front & back of the same ad

You know where we will tomorrow as soon as my daycare babies leave(or maybe I will have hubby go by himself) We will be stocking up on this. Thanks for letting us know- we didn’t get the email or flyer from them yet this week.

Oh, the Stouffers Cajun Shrimp Alfredo is the same one that I bought at the 99 Cents Only Store. We loved it! Just a little tingle of a spiciness. Pick up a nice loaf of bread for soaking up all the yummy alfredo sauce :)

Hmmm, I wonder if Target Pleasant Hill and/or Walmart would price-match this GO ad?

I got mine! Was a little bummed at the combinations- they are blends that I wouldn’t normally buy, but for $1 I snagged a couple bags of the mozzarella/parmesan for lasagnas! Also 5 lbs of Cuties clementines for $3.99 beats Safeway’s $5 Friday price! Woohoo!

Oh, I also found Nestle Christmas sugar cookies on clearance right near the cheese- 2/$1! My kids are quite happy to be eating Santa and Snowman cookies this afternoon!

not sure if this is the case everywhere, but the good by date on the pkgs at my GO were up in about 3 weeks…be aware, use by then or maybe freeze for later? I’m making lasagna this weekend and pizza next week, so it will be put to good use :o )

Can you price match this at Walmart?

Reply

Natalie Broderick via Facebook January 4, 2012 at 8:46 pm

I was there today…no luck! Plus I asked if they had an ad because I didn’t see the B1G1 by the cheese and they said no. No Powerbars either…Reno stinks! :P

The Frugal Find via Facebook January 4, 2012 at 8:47 pm

You could sure try Heidi, you’d just need to grab an ad at your store.

Reply

Heidi Spruill via Facebook January 4, 2012 at 8:51 pm

At Walmart you can use the ad on your phone. Natalie, the online ad for Reno has the cheese on the back page.

Got the cheese today too and had lasagna tonight :)

I bought some of the cheese today. The date was Jan 11th 2012 and discovered large mold spots on a few of them. I didn’t notice it in the store because of the packaging. I live an hour away from the store unfortunately. I also bought some stauffer’s shrimp/noodle bags for a dollar each. That was a great buy.

I wanted to go tonight but hubby was too tired- hopefully one or both of us will get there tomorrow- Anyone know if the Vallejo store has the cheese and the shrimp??

Shana Long Hamel via Facebook January 4, 2012 at 9:10 pm

I should mention I shopped at the Merced, CA store.

Mine didn’t have this.

stocked up on cheese today. I also picked up some grapes for a decent price because my 16 month old wasn’t about to let me leave the store without those grapes. :)

I went today after hearing such great things here on FF & I am in LOVE with this store. They had so much. So many choices & I bought things I normally wouldn’t and still walked out with over $100 savings! They were all super sweet, asked me several times if I needed help, could get me anything or just wished me a good day. Check-out had three people help me and even walk with me to the car & unload. Maybe because I had the baby with me…but, way better service than most stores. I can’t wait to go back when I have more room in the cart & I’ve already recruited some people to go with me. I did some reading & people said watch expiration dates, but I didn’t see any even near expiring. I left with a smile & so please with the natural options, too! Thank you FF… I have had a bad past with them & you made me give them another shot…well, well worth it. I am so doing all my shopping there if possible. Even got a couple birthday presents for the kids! ;0)

Oh, how I miss Oregon and the readily available Tillamook cheese!!!

Lynzee Head via Facebook January 5, 2012 at 2:27 pm

Our store was already all out in Medford oregon but they hope to get more in tomorrow as well. I did get lucky and find some chunk pieces of cheese but I will definitely be going back tomorrow to see if they got more in. My kids are cheese freaks.

ALSO do any of you freeze this? if so, any special way of doing it?

Reply

Linda D'Lorey Hahn via Facebook January 5, 2012 at 2:33 pm

I freeze shredded cheese. And nope! It won’t stick together and you can take out as much as you need just like in the fridge!

Went to Grocery Outlet today and loaded up on fruit and veggies, cheese, Foster Farm chicken breast, granola bars, Moo Milk, and more. Spent $60, saved $61. My trunk had 8 or 9 bright yellow bags filling it. I was jazzed and really appreciate the savings.
