I haven’t been to Great America in years! I have to say this brings back a lot of memories including a random very large orange construction cone that somehow came home with us, and the honking parties my boyfriend, now husband would start in the parking lot, and being u comfortable soaked most of the day. We sure were a lot goofier then! Oh and I’ll never forget going with my dad when I was my kids age. He lost everything from his pockets, wallet and glasses included, into the water after riding the pirate ship that turns upside down. That was a bummer!
Plum District is new hot local group buying deal site similar to Groupon, Passbox, Savvy Source, and many others. For 2 days only, on Plum District you can get Great America tickets for only $30 each, that’s 45% off the regular $54 admission price.
With intense thrill rides (a 22-story free-fall, a 50-mile-per-hour “jet coaster”), family rides (an old-school carousel, celebration swings), and kid rides (bumper cars, choo-choo trains, the newly opened Planet Snoopy), Great America promises fun for ever age.
Great America is also home to the Boomerang Bay Beach Club that offers guests a wet and wild time with twisty water slides, a relaxing heated lagoon, and a 355,000-gallon wave pool.
