I have a coupon question! I tried doing a transaction like this before at Target a few months ago, however they would not let me use more than one coupon because it says “Limit one coupon per purchase.” Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any suggestions?

I’ve had readers tell me the same thing — this is how it’s “supposed” to work.

If a coupon says “One per purchase” it means one coupon per ITEM purchased.
If a coupon says “One per transaction” it means exactly that, you’ll have to use those coupons and pay in separate transactions.

I hope that helps!

I had the same problem at Target during the Pamper deal a couple of weeks along. I was mad because I had ordered Target coupons online for this deal and they would not let me because, “Limit one coupon per purchase.” I don’t know what we are doing wrong. HELP!

What I’d suggest is simply going at another time of day, with a different cashier or possibly even going to a different Target. Unfortunately cashiers and even managers are rarely properly trained in how to accept manufacturer coupons.

In the fine print, on the rebate form it states that each $5 rebate must be mailed separately. Maybe they’re not too picky, but that’s how I did it. I didn’t want to miss out on the full $15! :)

Cathy, you’re right – and I should note that thank you! However, several readers and bloggers have contacted them to ask this question, and we all given the ok to mail together. Good point on it being a bit risky though!

Please note the small instructions at bottom of rebate form, they state “Each $5 rebate form must be mailed separately.” I too was going to mail them in a large envelope, but noticed the fine print.

Went to Target at lunch! Got my 3 tins and of course the Clean Linen one had the UPC peeled off! Didn’t notice until I got back to my desk! Does anyone have the UPC for the Clean Linen?

Thanks!

The coupon is literally *inside* the tin under the cap or something? I looked at 3 different Targets and none seemed to have ones with coupons. Oh well…
