I received the following press release from RetailMeNot and the new Holiday caught my eye not to mention a bit of shopping money for 4 of you! Here are the details…
While everyone knows the traditional holiday season is approaching, I wanted to make you aware of a newly announced holiday shopping season you may not know about, the season of OctoNovemCember. This holiday, revealed by RetailMeNot, comes complete with its own holiday character to compete with Santa – the Pumpkin-Headed Turkey Claus. While it doesn’t roll off the tongue, OctoNovemCember conveys the idea that Americans aren’t waiting around until November to start their holiday shopping. In fact, we found through a summer survey that nearly half of all Americans (46%) plan to start their holiday shopping this month!
The “OctoNovemCember” season was created by RetailMeNot to provide a season of deals/offerings during these months. As part of the program, RetailMeNot has created a series of fun videos about the holiday staring the one and only king of the season, the Pumpkin-Headed Turkey Claus! The first of these videos is live on the RetailMeNot holiday deals hub – a place that will also feature deep discounts for the entire holiday shopping season through Black Friday, Cyber Monday and onward through Christmas.

Plus just for sharing the video via email, Facebook, or Twitter you can be entered to win a weekly $1,000 shopping spree! Also right here at TFF this week I have (4) $25 Visa Gift Card to give away to 4 lucky Frugal Find readers!

I shop year round for little stuffers, and gifts for people who provide services. For the bigger kid gifts, I like to get them closer to the holiday in case they need to be exchanged.
