Any idea how many of their forms and surveys one has to complete before qualifying for the WSJ subscription? It seems endless (names and email for 3 friends; write reviews about my favorite restaurants; write reviews about my personal wallet; write reviews about my favorite newspaper; etc.) and there has been no confirmation of joining RewardsGold via email in the past hour.

Regarding coupon inserts in WSJ–
If this subscription includes the Saturday delivery of WSJ Weekend, then it will contain the Smart Source inserts. Love those because they are the same ones as the San Francisco Chronicle Smart Source AND it arrives early Saturday, a whole day ahead of any other coupon inserts! Getting coupons early makes a big difference because you can straddle two sales cycles!
