Elefun and Friends Game Giveaway – ENDED

by Julia on October 20, 2009
GiveawayMiscellaneous

I was so excited when MyBlogSpark contacted me with this spark because I knew it was sure to make my kids just giddy!  Sure enough the package arrived and they thought it was Christmas!  We opened the boxes right away and dug in for some sure fun.  Giraffalaff Limbo and Scatterpillar Scramble are two new games that are sure to bring smiles and laughter to you and your kids!

  • GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO is the crazy new game of “how low can you go?” Spin the dial to try one of the 6 limbo styles: classic limbo, crab walk, crawl, giraffe walk, bend forward or backward. The game´s built-in sound will play an encouraging song as preschoolers try not to bump into Giraffalaff. If he´s knocked over, he´ll roll on the floor in laughter. The player that passes under Giraffalaff at the lowest level wins.

  • In SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE kids will do their best to balance marbles in the hands of one very wiggly caterpillar. Kids will have fun dancing along to the music with Scatterpillar in this fast-paced marble game. The first player to securely place all 8 marbles in Scatterpillar´s hands wins. SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE was named the 2009 Preschool Game of the Year by Creative Child Magazine.

In addition, everyone can go HERE to download a printable coupon for $4 off any Elefun & Friends game! This valuable coupon offer is valid until December 31, but it´s only available for download through October 31, so be sure to print it now.  I bet we’ll see some great Christmas sales, both before and after!

Our favorite silly games are the spontaneous chase, tickle games that happen in a house with a 2 and 3 year old. Right now they mostly invovle “spooky” creatures :)

My kids like to get creative and make up games by cutting up cardboard boxes and making a game board and little pieces. They spend most of the time building their games before they actually play them. Thanks for the consideration.

We love to play hide&go-seek. It’s amazing where they hide and how all the giggles give them away.

My four-year-old daughter and I have fun playing the silly name game. They often rhyme or start with similar sounds. i.e. You are a green giraffe. Well you are a hiccuping hippo. But you are polka-dot pants. You look like a quesadilla queen. I think you’re a carry-car. You are a shoey-shoe. It’s totally portable, and it can be a great distraction while doing something we HAVE to do.

Right now my twins’ favorite game is to pretend that we’re playing baseball. It involves way more chasing than in the actual sport, but they have a great time.

We play a game where we rhyme words and run around. The person who takes a long time to think, loses. It is usually me. :)

With very young children I play the animal game where you pretend to be the animal and make the animal noises while walking your fingers up their arms or legs.

Our favorite silly game to play is Snorta! You have to hollar the animal sound of your opponent to win! It is sooo funny!

We are a BIG game family. We have a linen closet full of games. I think one of our favorites right now is Mouse Trap. Although, our favorite fun thing to do around here is to use the entire house to play hide & seek.

my favorite game is to chase him around the house shouting out a letter. Then he tells me everything he sees that starts with that letter.

My favorite silly game is the finish the story game. I start the story by adding characters and the setting the I pass the story on to one child who adds to it, the next child adds their crazy part of the story. I always laugh at how the story ends no where near it was when it began. It is so much fun.

We love to play hide and seek. It is silly because it is so funny to see where everyone decides to hide and the small spaces they can suddenly fit into!
