I am new to the couponing world and just did my first trip to CVS looking for the deals you mentioned above. How did you know about the ECB for cover girl and Ragu/Skippy? The ECBs weren’t listed in their flyer and the cashier didn’t know about them. My receipt only printed 2ECB, but the manager was more than willing to take my word for it and print the missing ECBs. She also told me to print the blog and bring it to the store and they’d honor your listed deals.
Hi Kristen, thanks for your comment. Sometimes what happens is I get the deals from ads that aren’t necessarily available in our area. Where do you live? I’m excited to hear that the manager took your word for it and that you were able to get the savings! I’d love to know if this is in my area.
I’ve been noticing that the sale ads in Concord/Clayton are not the same ones that seem to be on the blogs. They do not have as many of the ECB deals as others are getting. I even compared page by page this week to the one I found on IheartCVS. It lists the ragu ECB ours doesn’t it does have the Ragu on sale, you just don’tearn the ECB. I think Kristen lucked out because if she lives locally those ECB deals are not valid here this week. I wonder if we can write to CVS and ask why the rest of the country seems to be getting multiple ECB deals in their Sunday Ad and we get just a few.
