Sorry my voice is so quiet, I was in the middle of CVS and wasn’t feeling incredibly empowered with my flip video ![]()
I received an email from Kaley at Cha Ching on a Shoestring this week sharing a new promotion CVS would be having soon. Basically they are promoting bulk packaging. Actually I’ve seen several stores going this route, I’m not sure if it’s a New Years thing or if they’re trying to convince us that bulk is better. I always tell people, bulk is not always a better deal even at Costco! However, at CVS they’re giving you ECBs (Extra Car Bucks) when you purchase participating bulk packages.
The official dates of the sale are 1/3-2/14/10 but I found them on the shelves at my CVS today, however they only a couple of items out. So far, the big mystery is whether or not there is a limit. Also, it will depend on the store but if you’re lucky and an item is packaged in 2′s you MAY be able to use 2 coupons saving even more. Again, this will vary by store.
Go here to see the complete list of participating products, here are a few of my favories:
$6 ECB wyb 6ct. box of Soy Joy, $6
$2 ECB wyb Cheez-It Double Pack, $6.00
$4 ECB wyb Cheerios(plain and Honey Nut), $7.99

The bulk deals are a great tip. I have not read about them anywhere else. This is a great site. I now have your site bookmarked.
