Hi! I don’t know how old the video of your pantry is, but you asked for ideas for Jello. I have a super easy dessert that is always loved, if you want to give it a try. It’s a cake that is a wonderful summer treat, but really can be done anytime!

All you do it make a white cake, following the regular instructions. Just before that gets out of the oven, prepare two small boxes or one large box of Jello according to the instructions on the box, or close. (I cut the water to a little more than half, but you can use more if you want.) When the cake gets out poke it with a butter knife and then poke it some more! :) Pour the Jello over the cake, evenly drenching it. (This is the part where you’ll be doubting me, but keep going!) Chill it and then spread cool with on top. You can use any flavor of Jello and the amount of water is very flexible. My favorite is strawberry jello and you can even put fresh strawberries on top. Sorry, I’m more of a throw it together person — usually trying to use up my bargains! :) Enjoy!

I received a discount for SF Chronical in the mail $1 week for 52 weeks. I’m going to call them tomorrow and scoop up the deal. I’m wondering how many copies of the paper you have delivered. It looks like you have a lot of coupon inserts, so I’m guessing more than 1 per week (each SFC & CCT). Are you able to get multiple copies delivered or do you have to buy them at the store?

Let me know if the code will work for others, I’d love to share it on the blog! On average we get 1 paper per person in our family.
