We’ve put feelers out there a few times on Facebook and got quite a good response, so now we’re making it official. The Frugal Find is hiring! If you think you have knack for using coupons and finding deals, we’re looking for you!
Mr. Frugal and I have reached the point that we want to do so much more than the we have the time to do and so we’re looking for some help. We have a slew of new ideas and features that we’d like to start working on, but in the meantime we need help with a few of the basics. We’re looking for readers (or other frugal bloggers) who are interested in finding deals and writing weekly deal match-ups for the following stores…
Lucky & Save Mart Supermarket
Winco Foods
Raley’s / Bel Air / Nob Hill
Albertson’s
If you are interested, feel free to email me (thefrugalfind@gmail.com) for the details. You can see an example of how Kimberly helps us with the CVS deals doing the weekly match-ups. If you’re interested in sharing a weekly shopping trip, you can see how Jolene helps us with the 99 Cents Only Store deals. Please note that this is a VERY part-time job and will only serve to supplement your grocery budget or fund a new shoes savings.

Last week I got an email a PR Rep at Winco, they’re testing the waters and releasing the current prices in their produce department. Today they once again shared their current produce prices, she said if this is well recieved they’ll possibly start to release prices on a regular basis from other departments in the store. This would be AMAZING because since Winco doesn’t release an ad, it’s especially hard to hunt down deals and post coupon match-ups for you here on TFF. If they do this, we’ll be able to share more Winco deals on a regular basis.
What can you do to help? Please head on over to the Winco Facebook page and let them know you would love it if they shared their prices with bloggers such as The Frugal Find. This will help us help you even more in the future!
For now here are the current produce prices, that could vary by region. You can also find several other recent coupon match-ups available at Winco over here.
Prices listed expire 2/18/12. Prices, availability and selection may vary by location and are subject to change without notice.

- Green Seedless Grapes $1.98 lb.
- Red Globe Grapes $1.98 lb.

We’re working on getting our very popular Winco deals back on TFF, so stay tuned! In the meantime Jennifer shares her Winco shopping trip with us today…
Well, it’s been one of those weeks where I just needed to shop and not worry about all the deals and coupons…always feels weird! I didn’t even take my binder in. I’ve been out of many spiced/herbs so I hit the bins. Here’s what I got for $19.32
- HyTop oats: $1.83. I needed the container for future bin shopping. Bin price is .91/lb. I paid .95
- Popcorn: .73/lb paid $1.83
- Basil: $2.93/lb pd .21
- Sunflower seeds $1.56 p’d .76
- Pumpkin seeds $2.97/lb p’d .71
- Soynuts $1.28 p’d $1.33
- Choc covered sunflower seeds $4.19/lb p’d $2.05
- Avocado .78
- Raw almonds $3.98/lb p’d $3.34

- Pretzel balls .94/lb p’d .26
- Baking mini chocchips $2.59/lb p’d $1.71
- Thyme $5.06/lb p’d .15
- Rosemary $2.58/lb p’d .08
- Lindsay olives .78 p’d $1.56
- Oranges .87
Used three reusable bags .18 credit
Somethings might not be fantastic deals but my budget was $20 so I figured we would have fun and try a few new things. I’m making my own granola bars, quick breads and snacks these days so feel ok spending a little more for products.
Thanks for sharing Jennifer!

I know you’re wondering what happened to the Winco deals, I’m really very sorry. It’s be a bit trickier to keep up with their deals since they do not put out an ad, but I’m working on it and I hope to be back to a semi-regular Winco routine in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime there is a new $3/$10 Clorox Cleaning Products Coupon. I’d list out all of the products, but I can’t! The fine print is TINY. It looks like it’s good on ALL Clorox brand products and is redeemable at Winco only. You’ll need to use zip code 94509 to find the coupon.

The $1/1 Reser’s Classic Deli Salad Coupon is back! We’ve seen it as low as $1.98 at Winco in the past, this would be a perfect addition to your Labor Day BBQ. If you don’t see it right away, try using zip code 94509.
