We ran into Target today for a couple of thins and I noticed that bulk area was all on sale 50% off. You know the area in the back of the store with the larger packages and 2pks of various toiletries, etc? Once a year they try to play Costco and then shortly after they clearance it all out, this is a great time to use your coupons!

I was also excited to find these “trial” size bags of Iams dog food regularly priced at $3. If you have the $3/1 coupon from the 1/29 P&G insert you can grab a bag for FREE! Inside I found another $3/1 (13lbs or larger) coupon and a $1.50/1 Iams Canned food coupon – hoping that means more FREE dog food!

Bend, OR Target Store is getting Grocery Section!

I was quite surprised to find today when I went to take advantage of the crazy good deal on Weight Watchers meals that all we have at the Bend store is a measly 2-3 door cold section. So I finished my shopping a bit bummed at the fact that I am missing out on this deal. Then I noticed the majority of the store was squished into smaller section with a large open area near the front of the store. I asked my cashier what was going on and she showed me the plans for remodel – a NEW GROCERY DEPARTMENT!

I couldn’t see all of the dates, but it will happen in phases and is expected to be completed my 3/25/12. Trust me you’re going to love it! I always said back in CA, that if there wasn’t a sale going on somewhere Target’s prices were hard to beat. I for one welcome the new Target grocery remodel. Oh and I am VERY excited that the new Panda Express is now open too in the same shopping center!

If you’re out and about, you may want to stop in and see if there is any Christmas clearance left. My store was completely cleared of Christmas but I’m hearing reports of 90% off sales in some stores. Also even though we haven’t even had a winter yet I found that the Winter clothes, boots, and accessories were 50-70% off already!
