What has been your best Frugal Find at your local Grocery Outlet store?
I was shopping this past weekend at Grocery Outlet and saw this new “Frugal” bag that they are selling. I just had to buy one! I thought you guys would appreciate it as well. Call me Frugal, but don’t call me Cheap!
Do you have anyone in your life that just doesn’t get it? Maybe they don’t get couponing and they don’t get that you live within your means. Have you even been called Cheap? I’d love to hear your stories, Frugal living has definitely gained in popularity over the past couple of years but there are many people out there still that think it’s just a silly waste of time. A hobby.
I guess they’re ok paying full price for everything, I just can’t imagine ever doing that again!
Congrats to the following readers, they’ve each won a $25 Grocery Outlet gift card! Check back in just a couple of weeks and I’ll have another $50 for Grocery Outlet to giveaway! The winners have been contacted by email and have 24 hours to claim their prize, congrats ladies!

After a short break for the Holiday’s we’re back on track with our monthly $50 Grocery Outlet Giveaway. I have (2) $25 Grocery Outlet gift cards to give away to (2) Frugal Find readers.
The pictures above are from my shopping trip this past week, courtesy of Grocery Outlet. I spent $33.63 and saved $54.76! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it feels NICE to shop and save without using a single coupon! I’ll admit it’s nice to be able to walk in get a great deal without too much thought or planning. Not everything they sell is the best price possible, but you guys are such savvy shoppers you know how to pick, choose, and shop around. It’s important to know your Buy It Now/Stock Pile prices anytime you go out to grocery shop, regardless of where you are but especially when you go to Costco.
If you shop Grocery Outlet often, you know that there stock changes frequently. This means there are always new deals to be found. You can see the February ad over here, just remember that not everything pictured above or in the ad is necessarily still in stock.
The new Grocery Outlet ad is out! There are always some great deals to be found, in the ad but mostly in the store! I’m always amazed at what I find when I stop in. I’ll be taking a trip to the new Concord Grocery Outlet this week to see what kind of deals I can find, stay tuned this week because 2 Frugal Find readers will win a $25 gift card to shop their local Grocery Outlet!
This giveaway has ended and the winner will be announced on Saturday 12/11, thank you everyone for entering!
I’ve been working with Grocery Outlet for close to a year now and have to say they are a great company with great stores, and better yet – GREAT prices. Their prices are consistently low and while we are able to get things free from time to time at other grocery stores – what I love about Grocery Outlet is that I can leave my Coupon Binder at home and still save BIG! Even still it’s important to know your Buy It Now/Stock Pile prices.
They are releasing a new ad on 12/15 in stores, but being a part of the Frugal Force means you get a sneak peak and a chance to win a $50 gift card to shop at your local Grocery Outlet! Get this…we’ll be doing this EVERY month!! I have (1) $50 gift card to giveaway, now take a minute and enter to win!

I will have the awesome opportunity to interview the CEO of Grocery Outlet in just a couple of weeks. Something I didn’t know was that it is a family business and the current CEO is the grandson (or great grandson) of the original founder/owner. Wow!
Will you help me craft the questions I ask? We’ll be filming the interview live and sharing it here on TFF and on Grocery’s Outlet’s website. So, what would you like to know about Grocery Outlet? Have you heard rumors that you’d like answers to? Do you want to know how they get such great deals? Here is your chance to ask away and help me out as I prepare for this interview, thanks everyone!
Check back in the next couple of days for a GREAT giveaway courtesy of Grocery Outlet!

This was a larger than normal shopping trip and included a few things we didn’t need but we kept it under the $5o a week budget still. Our total Was $41 and change, I’ll get the rest of my produce tomorrow at the 99 Cents Only Store and I’ve already stocked up on my breads, etc.
I’ve been having a blast teaching my daughter how to grocery shop, clip coupons, and meal plan. She eagerly joined me today as we went to 3 different stores making a game of how little we could spend. She was such a joy to have tag along. Melissa over at Saving Sense with Sense wrote a post today titled Shopping With Kids: Do You or Don’t You?. It was a great post explaining the benefits of having your older children join you. I absolutely agree! With that said – I recommend shopping without your kiddos under 3 and if possible just take the older ones, one at a time.
A few lessons my daughter learned or was reminded of today:
1. Long lines give us a chance to rest. 2. Blessing an elderly woman by picking up something she dropped feels nice. 3. Being organized saves ALOT of time. 4. Ask for a discount – she saved $2 on a dress up dress at the thrift store just by asking and smiling really nicely. 5. If it’s not on sale, it’s not in our budget and that’s ok. Delayed gratification, a very valuable lesson. 6. Grocery shopping usually includes a trip to Starbucks and nets her a $1.10 kid’s iced chocolate milk.
I just love this little girl…
