My family and I have used Sigg Bottles in the past. I have used the Wide Mouth Screw Top Red Swiss bottle weekly for the past 2 years and LOVE it. It’s been to soccer practices, over night stays, jogging in the stroller and of course to the pool! My 2 1/2 year old actually LOVES drinking out of it and claims it as her own
My oldest daughter used the Fairies and Butterflies Active Bottle for about a year and ended up tossing the lid out because it was no longer working. I should’ve contacted Sigg for another top, but, I never have…busy Mom of 3, that’s my excuse…mmmmk?!?
Anyhow we received two Sigg Bottles to review. The Animal Mix Up Optic Pattern and the Cupcake Design Bottles. As a Mom I was happy to see that there weren’t a million pieces to clean or needed to give my daughters a tutorial on how to use them! The regular Kids Sigg Bottles have been used pretty much all summer! The bottle itself keeps the water colder for longer and despite my reservation of the bottles we have yet to loose the screw on lid! However, the 6 year old will be starting school August 20th and she tends to drink a bit of water at school. So I’m hoping she doesn’t loose the top at school.
After using the bottles for the past few months the only negative thing I have to say about the bottle is that it doesn’t fit ice cubes easily. If you fill up water bottles using a ice dispenser on your fridge this bottle won’t be easy to use. Our fridge has an ice maker inside the freezer and are the longer/skinnier kind of ice cube. I often find myself at the sink melting the ice cube down so it will fit into the Sigg Bottle.
With that said we will continue to use the bottles because they do keep the drink cold unlike the average bottle.
