I’ve noticed in the comments on this week’s Safeway Deals posts that several of you didn’t get the Catalina Coupons you were supposed to get. It’s always so strange to me when they don’t print. Sometimes it’s as simple as the cashier’s machine isn’t turned on or it’s out of paper, but if you got other coupons then that isn’t the case.
Every so often a friendly manager will handle it immediately at the customer service desk and just give you the cash back for the catalina coupons that didn’t print but more often you’ll need to take the following steps to get your Catalina Coupon.
These coupons aren’t issued by Safeway, instead they are issued by the Catalina Marketing Company. So attempts to contact Safeway directly will not help.
Call the Catalina Marketing Company at 1-888-322-3814
They will ask for the specifics from the store receipt – date, location, etc.
Give them your contact information and you’re set.
The Catalina Coupons will be mailed to you!

This happened to me with the CPK deal. I just went to customer service and they gave me cash. It happens more than it should but I don’t mind if it’s handled properly.

Thank you! This is such useful info!! Now if only Kmart were better with their reward bonuses. I’ve had to politely ask more than one cashier why they threw away the bonuses that printed out after my receipt. They always say, “oh, you wanted those?” Duh, well yeah!

Was the Pillsbury deal a Catalina printout or instant $4 off? I bought four and got home and nothing was taken off or spit out. I need to go to Customer Service this week.
