The rules for this event are:
-Manufacturer Coupons up to and including $2 Value are doubled up to $2 no matter what the retail price of a single item is
-Does not include Kmart Store Coupons
-Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
-Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day

I saw somewhere that you can only do this offer if you have their rewards card; is this true?

This is what I found on grocerycouponguide.com –
“The week of April 4, 2010, Kmart plans to be offering double coupons. Kmart will double coupons up to $2 and will double up to 5 coupons per day. They will be keeping track of these limits on their Shop Your Way Rewards Card.”

Make sure you double check with the stores EVEN if you see them on the list. I called mine to see if any of the are lax on the coupon limit (since I’m over an hour away) and all 5 in the area said they NEVER participate in the events like these.
None of the stores in this area want people to save money! No double coupons, no overages, price down coupons… It’s really hard work to save a penny around here!
