Amazon revealed a bunch of new Kindle devices today, the most exciting to me is the new Kindle Fire! It still has a 7″ screen like it’s predecessor, but it comes in $40 cheaper – $159 shipped to your door. It’s has a 40% faster processor and twice as much RAM (memory) which should really help iron out some of the kinks we saw in the first version (mainly performance issues).
Want something even better? They also released two Kindle Fire HD tablets – a 7″ version and an 8.9″ version. At $199 and $299, these are still some very inexpensive tablets. With the cheapest iPad being $499, a $299 Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ sounds like a fantastic deal. They also have an 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD with 4G LTE for $499 – it has 32 GB of hard drive space (regular HD version has 16 GB) and you get 250 MB of data transfer per month for a yearly fee of $49.99. Sounds like a good deal, but it won’t take too long to reach that data cap either.

Just commenting here so I can see your posts. So frustrating that Facebook thinks it knows what I want in my newsfeed.

It is frustrating. I’m not sure which helps more – liking posts or commenting. – Mr Frugal
